Heinlahden Veistämö (The Heinlahti Boatyard) has an extensive history. The yard, close to Kotka, in Pyhtää, has designed and constructed boats already for several decades. Today, the yard is run by third generation followed by fourth. Legendary Jaakko Kiiski´s skills and business know-how successors are sons Erkki and Lauri. The fourth generation is coming into business via Erkki’s son Mika and Lauri’s son Timo.
Heinlahden Veistämö´s annual production is about four boats. The Company employs, in addition to Owners five craftsmen. Annual turnover is c. 1 Million Euro. The boats represent high-class boat building craftsmanship. To build the smaller Tiiskeri means some 1800 direct man-hours. The strategy of the Company is based on extensive experience, traditions and high quality.
Tiiskeri is a combination of speed, strength and seaworthiness. A clear proof of high quality and craftsmanship is the fact that the Company has delivered more than 40 boats for many regulatory body organizations – police, customs and above all – coast guard.
Tiiskeri is always a custom made product. The Customer makes the final specification and thus the final product meets his/hers personal requests.
Heinlahden Veistämö has also a comprehensive service and life time support activity. Upgrading and - especially for Nordic customers - a winter service is part of the Heinlahden Veistämö´s core business.
